Inventory management software

Know what is in stock. Follow every movement.

Tellency connects products, stock records, warehouse locations, purchasing and sales in one ERP. Receive goods, move stock between locations, review count differences and prepare replenishment proposals with the surrounding business records in reach.

Inventory control that connects to the rest of your operation

A standalone stock list tells you a quantity. Connected inventory helps the purchasing, warehouse, retail and finance teams understand how that quantity changed. Tellency includes goods receipts, stock transfers, cycle counts, adjustments, lot-expiry monitoring and stock reporting.

Use the inventory module alongside procurement, POS and manufacturing. Start your demonstration with one product, two locations and a real exception, such as a short delivery or a count discrepancy.

Receive goods against the purchasing record

Capture goods receipts and review the product, location and quantity received. Keep discrepancies visible rather than changing the order to match the delivery. Where lots and expiry dates are required, demonstrate capture and retrieval using representative products.

For example, a delivery of 90 units against an order for 100 should leave the outstanding quantity and supplier follow-up clear. Confirm how your configuration treats rejected stock, units of measure and the supplier invoice.

Move stock between branches with a controlled handoff

Tellency stock-transfer orders include approval, shipment, receipt and posting stages. Those stages separate the request to move goods from the physical dispatch and the receiving team’s confirmation.

Review a short receipt and a cancelled transfer during the demo. Agree which location owns in-transit stock, which roles can approve or post, and which reports your team uses to reconcile the movement.

Count, investigate and review adjustments

Cycle-count workflows include planning, starting, completing, approving or rejecting a count, and creating a draft adjustment from an approved count. A completed count is a record to investigate; it should not be confused with a posted financial correction.

Use the difference between a system balance of 100 and a physical count of 97 to test the process. Record the cause, approver and adjustment status, then reconcile the stock and accounting records.

Review replenishment before committing a purchase

Reorder proposals group suggested purchasing by supplier and branch, using stock, demand and lead-time inputs. The service includes estimated cost, reasoning and an open-purchase-order warning. Review the underlying history and proposed quantities before creating purchasing commitments.

A proposal depends on reliable data. Confirm supplier lead times, available stock, open orders and dormant-product treatment with the buyer. It is a decision aid, not a guarantee that stockouts will disappear.

Used in retail operations

Bin Saeed uses Tellency for POS, inventory and procurement. Ajwa Cash & Carry uses the ERP across supermarket operations, including finance, sales/POS, inventory, procurement and reporting. These are confirmed deployment scopes; no numerical performance outcome is asserted.

Your questions, answered

Is inventory part of Tellency ERP?

Yes. Inventory works alongside purchasing, sales, POS, manufacturing and finance. Your proposal confirms the modules, integrations and operating configuration included.

Does this replace a specialist WMS?

Evaluate the warehouse workflow separately. Location records and stock transfers do not establish robotics, wave picking, carrier connections or every specialist WMS capability.

Can we use inventory across several locations?

Tellency includes warehouse and location records and stock-transfer workflows. Bring your branch structure and access rules to a demonstration.

Evaluate Tellency against your own workflows.
