Keep purchasing, stock and customer commitments connected.

Tellency brings sales and CRM, inventory, procurement and finance into one ERP for wholesale and distribution evaluations. Follow the order through the business, including the delivery that arrives short and the stock that moves between branches.

Start with an order that does not arrive all at once

Wholesale operations often involve several commitments against the same products: supplier purchases, customer orders and branch replenishment. The fit test is how clearly those records can be reviewed together.

Use a customer order with a partial supplier delivery. Establish what is received, what remains outstanding and who owns the next customer update. Confirm reservation and allocation behaviour with your own scenario.

Keep supplier decisions and receiving records visible

Tellency includes purchase requisitions, RFQs, supplier quote comparison, purchase orders, goods receipts and three-way matching workflows. Use a price or quantity discrepancy to demonstrate the approval and resolution path.

Replenishment proposals provide supplier-grouped recommendations using stock and demand inputs. Review suggested quantities and open orders before committing a purchase.

Transfer stock with distinct responsibilities

Warehouse and location records support the physical operating structure. Stock-transfer orders separate approval, dispatch, receipt and posting so the sending and receiving teams have a defined handoff.

Cycle counts add a repeatable process for recording differences and reviewing draft adjustments. Start with a discrepancy-prone product and verify the final quantity and financial treatment.

Reconcile customer and supplier balances

Evaluate invoicing, receivables, payables and bank reconciliation alongside the stock workflow. Check the transaction timing, corrections and reports used by finance.

Agree trade pricing rules, rebates, landed-cost treatment, credit controls, EDI, freight and carrier integrations individually. Core purchasing and stock workflows do not establish every specialist distribution feature.

Prepare a controlled migration

Clean product identifiers, units, supplier details and opening stock by location before a trial import. Reconcile a sample of balances and transaction histories before switching systems.

For Canada, US, Australia or EU operations, add the specific tax, accounting, document and integration requirements of each entity to the acceptance plan.
